This is great! Talk about taking a look back in time to see where all the great characters came from that we grew up with and then to see how they have developed today--what a literary and visual journey! To me, this book almost seems like a collector piece with the author's perspective, and even to someone like me, who isn't familiar with all those comic books, I found this to be incredibly interesting and fascinating. This is a really fun review and I would very much enjoy being able to finish the book! Also, I think this would be a really great coffee table book to have on hand when guests, family and friends come over as the perfect conversation starter. While I've seen a lot of comic books on the stands before, I haven't seen a book quite like this and I really like my first impression!
