Rise of the Superheroes is a wonderful timeline of the heroes that we have fallen in love with and cheered on in both comics and movies. Many books like Rise of the Superheroes specialize in Dc or Marvel, not both. It was nice to see both incorporated into one volume. (Some of us like ALL the heroes!) The brightly colored pages are fun to look at as well as the covers of the original comics. The snippets of information are clear and well laid out for easy reading. Each of the covers was clearly labeled with when the comic was released. This is a good reference tool.
I enjoyed seeing mentions of Black Panther and Wonder Woman since the book was sent to press before these movies came out in theaters.
