If you are a comic book fan, particularly if you love Marvel and DC, then you will most likely enjoy this book. The photos and layout of the book are a lot of fun (every page is full of color!). The actual reading part of the book isn't very lengthy, a couple of paragraphs here and there, which is nice if you just want to browse the book occasionally or give it to a younger fan. There really isn't a lot of new information here, but the artwork and covers are impressive. It also includes the values for some older, collectible comics and/or artwork, which is interesting. The book also references the transitions from comics to the small and big screen and shows assorted comic book memorabilia from over the years. A good book for anyone who is just getting into comics and their history.
