I got this book for my son to review because he's a huge superhero fan. The bold colors and vintage drawings really drew him in. It was something different than anything that's out on the market right now in regards to superheroes. My son said he liked that it was hardcover and not paperback or comic book like because he enjoys seeing the rich colors and feeling the weight of it. Overall, the illustrators and writers did an amazing job putting this superhero delight together! If I could give one con about the book, I'd say that the format may be a bit wordy. My son is 11 and he found the story format to scare him off a bit but once he got going, he really enjoyed the writing style and the pictures. So I'm thinking this book was catered to adult fans for the writing but I found it interesting as did my son.
