Really cool book with fantastic illustrations

Since I grew up in the 60’s, this book appealed to me. Somehow, I missed the memo about how important comic books were in that era, but I do remember reading many of them, totally unaware that a comic book code was changing how they were illustrated and written. The first look gives a fascinating glimpse into the history of comic books, with illustrations from the original books that are nostalgic and unbelievably well-suited for the topic. Good start to a diffferent kind of book!
