Firstly, I loved the color of the cover - it is so vivid and related to Superheroes altoghether. I was entirely drawn into this book, it tells the greatest Silver Age of Comics and explores the construction of comic book's history.
Regarding the World's History as background, it started with Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman (new frontier of DC Comics).
Rise of the Superheroes is also utterly ilustrated by original art covers,at the same time introducing other popular super heroes such as The Avengers, Iron Man, Hulk, Spider-man and X-men (60's to 70's).
The past covers reassured that the Comics existed for a long time and they were built alongside Men's History.
