Comprehensive Look at the Origin of Comic Books

Rise of the Superheroes is an anthology of the origin of the comic book. This is a book for a niche market, as it may not be interesting to those who do not appreciate the artistry and the nuances of comics. For those interested parties, however, Rise of the Superheroes would make an excellent coffee table book and would spark many conversations. The cover art draws the eye from across the room and would entice readers to pick it up and peruse its contents. I would purchase Rise of the Superheroes for several members of my extended family, but I am not sure if I would do more than flip through the pages myself.
