The book was immediatly very visually appealing. The cover art begs to be picked up and studied further and this continues in the book. The combination of bright colored backgrounds for the actual vintage artwork and comics works so well. The writing is interesting blending historic facts with the personal history of the author. There is a great deal of pop culture fun that shows the lasting impact of the comics. All in all the sample makes you want to continue reading,
