The author did a fantastic job of researching the material composing this book. It's plain to see he's a fan of the subject matter, as am I. Growing up in the 50s and 60s I read my fair share of comic books. I remember hanging out in the corner drugstore spending my allowance on a root beer float and sitting under the magazine shelves reading "Baby Huey", "Wonder Woman", "Archie", and various Classics Illustrated (my fav was Moby Dick).
