I couldn't get into this one. I do definitely sometimes enjoy this sort of generation-spanning historical fiction type novel, but this one just didn't grip me to be honest. It wasn't bad or anything, it just didn't suck me in right from the get go in the way that I normally look for. I just couldn't get invested.
