The title and cover art of this book did not match what I just read. I don't know if Chapter 2 is appropriate for young or underage readers because I would be uncomfortable reading about this as a kid. Maybe put an age disclaimer on the book so parents could vet it before letting their children read it?
Also the pace of the story is super fast. Rasheed and Rasheeda quickly went from babies to teenagers in a couple of pages and I feel like we were told what they thought and how they acted instead of shown through events or storytelling.
