When I read the description of the book, I thought I was in for a family saga based in historical Palestine. I thought that would be story would be about generations, falling in love, and the power family. Kudos to the marketing team for such an engaging description! Unfortunately, after I read the first few chapters, I was grossed out. I did not need to read about a priest watching a 19 year old have sex and then the priest's subsequent voyeurism and training the 19 year old in the ways of sex. That is definitely not what I thought the book was about. I will definitely not be reading the book. The first few chapters grossed me out.
