I love historical fiction, and this sounds like a really interesting way to show the challenges faced at that time in the Middle East - how religion, geography, and gender played a role in life in 1940s Palestine. Obviously that region will face many challenges in the 30 years this book covers, and I am curious how that will be portrayed.
