The idea of learning more about different cultures and religions had me intruged. However, this writing style just didn’t work for me. The pacing felt a bit strange with some parts that were very detailed and others sections that moved along quickly. It also was a challenge for me to connect with the characters which is the main thing I need to love a book. Unfortunately, this one is not for me.
