Love story & a disappearance

Historical fiction set in the 1940s is always a fascinating time period to read about. Throw in a love story and a disappearance and you've got yourself a recipe for an engrossing story! I haven't read much set in Palestine, so I'm also intrigued by the location and how that will shape the story moving forward.
