I don’t think I have ever read a novel that focused on a Muslim and Jew relationship. Typically when I think of 1940 I think of the Holocaust so this is an interesting perspective. I’m curious to see how the two families respond to the relationship especially in that particular climate of the 1940’s. While the cover was not impressive, I’m glad I peeked at the first look.
