Like someone reciting personal history

This first impression was not exciting at all to me and didn't make me want to keep reading. I felt as if I were reading an account of the twins' birth and childhood, and just being told what happened and how each reacted. Maybe later when some action actually happens, this book will get more exciting, but for me, the hook has to be almost immediate.
