The cover art is bright and immediately caught my eye - after reading the blurb, I was interested in the story, but after reading the "first look" I don't think this will be one that I pick up. The story idea sounds interesting, but something about the writing style was choppy and it didn't pull me in. That said, historical fiction isn't my usual genre, so I'm sure it will be an amazing read for those that gravitate towards that.
