This book immediately caught my eyes because it was set in 1940s Palestine and I am Palestinian-American. I read further and couldn't be more intrigued by its synopsis. Our culture is often misrepresented and underrepresented so to see a published Palestinian author is fascinating and a very proud moment for me. I hope to continue to showcase diverse reads on my social platforms and Replenishing the Sea of Galilee would do it. Not to mention, my dad who recently passed always told stories of Galilee, so I definitely have a special connection to it already.
