This is an epic tale of Rasheed and Rasheeda, brought into this world by one final act of their mother, Amina. The story follows their lives, their ups and downs, their loves and their defeats. I absolutely loved the characters, even the ones we met for a brief time, such as Amina. This story, although from a very different culture than I am from, is relevant and the prose is beautiful. I look forward to learning more about the author through these characters and their culture.
