Replenishing the Sea of Galilee tells the story of a Middle Eastern family in Jerusalem, moving through young lovers meeting and marrying, and then having children. Much of the First Impression focuses on the sexual awakening of one of the children, which I found uncomfortable and problematic. The story includes scenes of non-consensual voyeurism by one of the children's priests without the partner's knowledge.
