Another great Candice Fox read! The second in the Crimson Lake series, and it does not disappoint. Ted may finally, with the help of the girl's father, find the true killer of Claire. But is he ready for that to happen? He really has gotten used to his solitude and just living a quiet life, tucked away in his own world. Amanda and him team up again on a case, when they are called in by one of the victims father. Two young bartenders are murdered, over what appears to be a robbery, however looking closer the scene does not fit the crime of a robbery gone bad. Ted and Amanda, with her quirkiness, have made a friend within in the police department and they often work together to solve this, while Ted is still trying to fight his own case on the side. I really hope there is another in the series, and it would be interesting to see where it goes with the characters.
