Every book in this series is phenomenal. Candice Fox has managed to create a likable anti-hero as her main protagonist, and the supporting cast of characters around him are endearing as well. Ted was falsely accused of a horrific crime that he didn't commit in the first book in this series. This title, "Redemption Point", is the second title in the series. In this one, Ted forms a working alliance with a strange outcast private detective named Amanda, who was a convicted criminal due to an accidental murder she committed when she was a young woman. After serving her time, she and Ted make a cracking good investigative team. Together they set out to solve a double homicide at a small bar in the middle of nowhere. As always with Candice Fox books, there's plenty of twists and turns and red herrings to keep you guessing as the story progresses. I highly recommend this book, and the entire series!
