Although this wasn't as good as the first book in this series, it still deserved 4 stars. If you are looking for dark characters with afflicting backgrounds this is a great book for you.
Ted and Amanda are the main characters of the book. I really liked how author Fox writes both of them, so different but come together to make a perfect team. Ted is still haunted by being accused of rape and murder, however, that is more explained in book one. I definitely felt this second book was a good read just not as exciting as book 1.
Overall, I look forward to reading more books in this series. The series is so intriguing. I'm ready to read more! I flew through book 1, this book was a slower read for me but not bad still good. I really recommend this series!
