I very much appreciate when an excerpt is long enough to give you a real feel for a novel. This one gave me a glimpse of the main character, his ‘girl with the dragon tattoo-esque’ sidekick, and the thread that this story will follow. I already feel like I’m in with these characters and want to be with them as they deal with not only their case but also their personal issues. This second installment even makes me confident that I should rewind and start at the beginning!
