The cover seemed very basic to me. I felt like I'd seen it a million times before and nothing about it was very striking or compelling to me. With respect to the book, I think the story set up the situation well, though I found it a little different from the synopsis provided. I believed the main character was very well-written and Claire's father's motivations made sense. I'd be curious to see what happens with the female characters in the novel since at this point, they all do seem to come off as hybristophiliacs.
