Promise is a prep school in Washington D.C. It's purpose was to help high risk students achieve greatness. I adored this book. There are so many lessons. It discusses racial biases in society as well as ageism in the sense that teens are often automatically guilty. The characters were great and interesting and I enjoyed the mystery of it. This is a great story for older middle school and high school students. This was a great YA read.
