J.B., Ramon and Trey are students at the Promise Academy, a very strict school for boys. All three have motives to rid themselves of the unfair treatment from Principal Moore but do not expect to be accused of his murder. The three boys band together along with other close friends to solve the murder mystery and expose scandal around the school in the process.
I found this young adult novel to be well written and timely and sure to be enjoyed by teen readers. The mystery of the murderer was not easy to figure out and the ingenuity and resourcefulness of the teens was admirable. The flow of the book was a little disjointed for me and there seemed to be an unnecessary amount of POVs. But the book was easy to read and fast-paced, making it enjoyable overall.
