Though the story sounds interesting, I'm not sure that it's a book for me right now. I haven't read The Hate You Give, but I have read One of Us is Lying and I agree that it sounds like a similar story idea. The story sounds like it could be one to keep you on the edge of your seat with the different perspectives speaking about the suspects before you even get inside their heads, but it may also become distracting for some readers.
