Although I'm not a fan of the head-hopping righting style, I'm already intrigued to find out who killed the principal. I found this book's exposé of racism to be hilarious. One character says, "I don't want to see another brown boy go to jail. And he was one of the good ones." It wasn't overdone or in your face, but you couldn't ignore or accept it either. The school, however, did seem a little bit over the top. The premise of the book is rather unoriginal, though. I'm curious to see whether this will be my new favorite book or utter garbage.
