I am an avid fan of the mystery genre, and I truly believe it is not a good mystery unless it hooks you from the first chapter and you cannot put it down until the last. Promise Boys seems like that kind of mystery. I am already sucked in from the first few chapters, and I really like so many things about the novel. I like its switching POVs, its authentic diction to that of a high school student, and its short yet alluding chapters. I will definitely be making sure I get a copy!
