As a teacher who is always trying to add more books featuring Black characters to my class curriculum, I was really excited to read the synopsis for this book. I like that this book is a mystery, which is sure to engage some of my more reluctant readers. After reading the first look I can't wait to get the finished book so that I can finish reading the rest of it. I'm sure this would be a great addition to many classroom libraries.
