This book I whole heartedly give 5 stars. It dives into a vast array of topics. From Danny's block with his art work and the ominous Mr. X to the mysterious secret that his parents are hiding from him. Not only does Danny have to move schools the last semester of his senior year being away from his best friend Harry, but he also struggles with finding out his family's past. His parents are so loving and doing the best for their son. Why did they leave Austin? Why do I always drive my parents? Why did Danny and his parents have to move when his father got fired from his job at the lab why can't he find a new one? Danny is an incredibly bright and talented young man understanding his world better. A shocking truth makes Danny realize that he might have more family in California than he had initially thought. Masterful read!
