I really enjoyed this book a lot. It talks about some heavy stuff but I think it handles all of them with thoughtfulness and care. One thing I really liked is that it's one of those Under the Radar kind of books re: LGBT representation. Danny has feelings for Harry, but there's never any big Coming Out moment or anything; his feelings for Harry are just there, in a way that a crush is just there in a YA novel where the crush is a girl. This book is so heartbreaking, but I couldn't put it down. I thought Danny was a compelling narrator. I liked how the mystery of his parents' tragic secret was woven throughout the book. The ending made me go, "noooo!!" because I wasn't ready for it to end there. Also, the cover art is GORGEOUS; I've been swooning over it ever since the cover reveal.
