The cover of this book is beautiful and unique, and so is the writing. The book opens with a description of the narrator's father's mysterious research experiment about human connection. This research deeply disturbed the narrator's mother, and we have no idea why. I'm intrigued! It does remind me a bit of The Sun is Also a Star, which I absolutely loved.
