The information about quantum entanglement in the prologue was interesting, and I was surprised when the mom wanted her husband to stop his testing. I would have liked to hear why, but that question was not answered at that time.
I honestly found some of the book too wordy--too much thinking from the main character and not enough action. The fact that the word "effing" is used in the first chapter was a turn off for me.
