I like the writing in the prologue - it was unique and sounded philosophical and pulled me into the story. The synopsis also sounds good. As I read on, the writing did seem to become a bit more dry and started to feel more like other YA books that I've read, though I will keep this one in mind. The dialogue didn't always feel natural.
