I really enjoyed this first impression. This book is well put together and keeps you wanting to know more. The characters are richly developed and I feel like I know them and understand their lives. This book is vividly descriptive and makes you feel like you are there. You can smell Mrs. Cheng's flowers and herbs. I would love to read more.
