The cover of this book is what first grabbed my attention - so colorful, yet messy -- hinting at what lies within. The story of what happened before and how the characters came to be at the place to be where they are now remains to be unraveled, but the colors and light that enter into many places of Danny's world don't reach every corner of the rest of the world. And there is darkness just outside that keeps coming in.
