I love the cover of this book and its contents even more! The aspects of family and the relationships in the book were extremely captivating. I feel like this was a really important story to tell and a lot of the pieces of the story were very enlightening to a different background that I had never learned about before. The voice of this novel is an important one that was very eye-opening. I think that this is a book I would recommend to anyone (especially Filipino) who feels under-represented. It really delves into some important topics such as privilege and religion. It was cool to learn about Filipino culture through this lens. This was an extremely interesting read for me and I really enjoyed it!
