One more moon is a wonderful book that though based upon the true story of the author's grandson, reads like a work of fiction. I usually enjoy reading fiction and was very happy that the format of this memoir read so much like a thriller. Set in World War II Italy, Elsa must make an escape from Hitler and Mousilini. Like so many refugees today fleeing ethnic cleansing and genocide it was heartbreaking to read about how so many countries shut their doors to those like Elsa who are destitute and desperate. I enjoyed the way the author was able to make a story of such heartbreak and terror feel like it was happening to our own family member's. Elsa is such a fascinating character, and I am so glad that I was able to read part of her story in this book.
