One More Moon was an interesting story. It isn't a book I normally find myself reading, but it was surprisingly enjoyable. It took me a while to get into the story, but once the story developed I realized how beautiful the story of a Jewish German grandmother, Elsa, ultimately making it to America.

The book was set in the WWII era. The story was really heartbreaking because this woman and her husband were living in a time that was the hardest time in history for Jews; the time of Hitler. It was a story of survival and having hope in the toughest of times. The power of love and family proved to be the x-factor in Elsa's case. Her will to make it to America with her children made her even more determined.

Overall, I give this story 3 stars. This book opened up my reading interest for more history, nonfiction novels.
