I received this book for free from Bookish First in exchange for an honest review. If you've read my other reviews, you'll know that if it's bad, I'll say so, regardless of how I received the book.

One More Moon is a brilliantly written biography told through the eyes of the writers grandmother. I was quickly swept away into the memories that Elsa shares with the readers. It reminded me so much of being a young child, sitting amongst the elderly men of our family and listening to them each tell the stories of their lives during WWII. Each having such vivid memories of their time served.

Elsa recounts her life during WWII. She was a Jewish German woman who married a man named Paul. They leave Germany for Italy during the early Nazis uprising.
