I really like WWII fiction, so this was right up my alley. Most of the WWII fiction (at least here in the States) tends to focus on the US, England, and of course Germany, so it's nice to get an Italian perspective. I thought the writing style was really fun and unique. Instead of reading, it's like I'm being told the story from Elsa herself. I think this looks like a great book, and I hope to read it all when it's published! Also, what the heck is going on in the first chapter?!
