I'm a bit ambivalent about WWII memoirs, but this one seems like a unique perspective, given that the focus is Italian Jews struggling to stay out of reach of Hitler and the Nazi regime. The writing wasn't my taste, however - too casual and conversational. I'm not sure I could sustain interest throughout the entire book, although I'm sure history and biography buffs would love this memoir.
