The cover is very unappealing to me and it doesn't convey what the book is about. I enjoy memoirs and biographies, but I am not sure about this particular writing style. I appreciate that it is written in the subject's voice, but perhaps the story did not flow smoothly or quickly enough for me. The first chapter, which completely hooked me, was written in a much different style and I want to find out more about that event. I believe it will be revealed how it fits in with the rest of the story, but I want the tie in to happen sooner than it is taking with the preview.
