This book has some fully realized characters. I love Elsa's characterization already. I want to learn more about her and her struggles. The scene is great too, with the backdrop of Italy and Mussolini. I can't wait to read about the other characters in the hotel.
I'm not too sure about the cover though. It seems a little off, compared to the rest of the story. Maybe something with less tonal colors?
