I’m not really into this kind of book. Mainly because it brings me great sorrow to think of what people went through during war times. I can’t imagine being this couple. They up and moved and started over, met some really nice people and loved their neighbors. Yet, it got bad with the war so they had to up and leave to get away from all the turmoil they would’ve faced. I can only imagine what it would be like to move to a strange land and not know anyone. They were so courageous.
