After reading the synopsis for the book I think I would feel like I have taken a step back in history. The setting starts off beautifully in Italy when the couple purchase this place with images of beautiful days and nights filled with lots of fun and adventure. Then to have the war start and have to flee, one could only imagine what they had to go through to leave and try and make it to America. Could prove to be a great read!
