I'm a good ways into book, and Im hooked. I like detective Tully Jarsdel. When a body is found burned badly beyond recognition, Jarsdel has to investigate, while his partner tease him. Will he uncover the truth of what happened and what the victim did to deserve the torture he got. I'm not quite finished with book but it already has me wanting to get to the end to find out how everything works out, and it has just a little bit of humour. (That had me laughing),but then got right back to keeping me hooked. I have a feeling it is soon going to have me not wanting to put it down till the end. I was even talking out loud to the book. I love a book that gets me invested till the end of the book.
